Who We Are

Chartered in 1946, Soroptimist International of Ashland is a volunteer service club with the goal of providing resources and opportunities for women and girls in our community and the world to reach their full potential and live their dreams. Our 50+ members have professional backgrounds that range from theater, technology, and retail, to finance, real estate, education, and ministry. We meet weekly to socialize, organize our events and programs, and learn more about our community.
We are part of Soroptimist International of the Americas, one of five federations that make up Soroptimist International, which has clubs in more than 120 countries throughout the world. In 2021, Soroptimist International celebrated 100 years since the founding of the first Soroptimist club in Oakland, California.
